The Canberra Plant Selector Competition has closed.

Competition terms and conditions

For a chance to win one of ten $50 gift vouchers from an ACT nursery or garden supply store of your choice, enter the Canberra Plant Selector Competition.

How to enter

1. Visit the Canberra Plant Selector and identify which one of the following plants found in the Canberra Plant Selector is a low (i.e. one drop) water use plant.

Mint Bush (oval-leaf)
Christmas Bush
Grevillea (prostrate woolly form)
Rhododendron

2. Complete the online entry form

Print out the mail-in entry form (PDF 276 KB), tick your answer and post it to:
Canberra Plant Selector Competition, DECCEW, GPO Box 158, Canberra ACT 2601.

Only one entry per person.

The competition starts 19 October 2009. Entries must be received by close of business on 16 November 2009.

Prize details:

The first ten (10) correct entries drawn will win a $50 gift voucher from the ACT nursery or garden supply store of the winner’s choice.

Prize draw:

Prizes will be drawn at 10 am, 20 November 2009 at Department of the Environment, Climate Change, Energy and Water (DECCEW), Macarthur House, 12 Wattle Street, Lyneham ACT 2602. Winners’ names will be published on www.thinkwater.act.gov.au on 25 November 2009. Winners will be notified by mail or email by 30 November 2009.

A redraw for prizes not claimed or distributed by 1 March 2010, will occur at 10.00 am on 2 March 2010 at DECCEW, Macarthur House, 12 Wattle Street, Lyneham ACT 2602.
